2nd Quarter Reflection

 2nd Quarter Reflection

This Second Quarter has been a very fun and interesting experience for me because I learned how to make a simple website using HTML, which means HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGRE Before, I had no idea how web pages were created, but now I know that HTML is the basic code that builds them. I discovered different HTML tags such as <html>, <head>, <title>, <body>, <p>, <br>, and many more. Each tag has its own use, some are for adding text, others for pictures or links. I also learned how to add colors, background, and other features to make my page look nice. It was exciting to see my work come to life on the computer screen. I felt proud knowing that I could make something using just a few lines of code. This quarter helped me realize that coding is not as hard as it looks if you take time to practice and understand it.

Even though it was exciting, I also faced several challenges while learning HTML. At first, I got confused about which tags to use and where to put them. Sometimes my webpage didn’t look right because I forgot to close a tag or missed a symbol. I also found it hard to remember all the parts of the code, especially when there were many lines. It was frustrating when I couldn’t find the mistake, and it made me want to give up at times. Another challenge was balancing my time between HTML activities and other subjects. There were moments when I felt tired because of the many tasks we had to finish, but I kept reminding myself that hard work always pays off.

To solve these problems, I practiced more often and reviewed my notes after every lesson. I also tried typing sample codes again and again until I got them right. Whenever I didn’t understand something, I asked help from my teacher and classmates. Watching online tutorials also helped me learn faster because I could see how each tag was used step by step. I learned to be patient and to check my work carefully before running it. Every time I fixed an error, I felt happy and more confident. I realized that coding is just like solving a puzzle — it takes time, focus, and practice to make it perfect. By being patient and consistent, I slowly improved and started enjoying the process even more.

Moving on, I will continue to practice and learn more about HTML and other coding languages like
JavaScript. I want to design better and more creative web pages in the future. I will also try to manage my time well so I can finish my tasks without rushing. I’ve learned that learning something new takes effort, but it’s worth it when you see the result of your hard work. The Second Quarter taught me that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as I keep trying and never give up. I am excited to learn more next quarter and to continue improving my skills in web design and technology.
