Christmas Season 2025

   Christmas Season 2025

Christmas is a season that I truly treasure because of the experiences and feelings it brings into my life. For me, Christmas is not only about gifts, decorations, foods, games, or happy songs, but about the feeling of peace, love, and joy that fills our soul. As Christmas approaches, the simple sounds of carols and the sight of lights remind me that this season is meant to be celebrated with love and gratitude in our hearts. I enjoy helping my family and helping in church  prepare for the holidays, whether it is cleaning or hanging decorations. This simple moments remind me that Christmas is about spending time with our loved opnes and appreciating the blessing we have.

Spending time with my family is one of the most meaningful parts of my Christmas experience. We prepare food together, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company. Even simple moments like eating together or talking late at night become extra special during this season. During Christmas, I also get to reconnect with relatives and friends whom I don't see much. These experiences taught me that love is the true gifts of thius season, more valuable than any material gifts.

Serving God as an altar server during Christmas time is one of the most joyful and important experiences for me. Attending Simbang Gabi, Misa Aguinaldo, and serving during Christmas Vigil made me feel closer to God and more aware of the true meaning of Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ. Although serving can be tiring to wake up early and go home late, it brings joy to my heart. It taught me humility, patience, and the importance of serving God and others with sincerity.

As the Christmas season comes to an end, the lessons I learned remain with me. Christmas taught me to love more, give more, and be thankful for all the blessings that the lord has given me. Celebrating Christmas in its true essence means carrying these values beyond the season of Christmas and living them every day through kindness, faith, and service to God and others.
